- About the webinar
About the webinar
Gene expression microarray analysis allows the investigation of genome-wide expression changes in health and disease and has become a major tool for discovery in medicine. Since the design, analysis, and interpretation of microarray experiments require specialized knowledge, this webinar aims to:
- discuss general statistics issues
- present the types of studies that can be conducted with microarray experiments
- show potential pitfalls in the interpretation of microarray experiments
- provide best-practice advice for experimental design, data processing, and data representation/visualisation
- answer your questions live on air!
The following Talks will be presented:
- Study design:
- General statistics (EVA FREYHULT, NBIS/Elixir Sweden)
- Towards different biological conditions - what to think about (JESSICA LINDVALL, NBIS/Elixir Sweden)
- Microarray analysis:
- Microrarry tehnological platforms (MIHAELA MARTIS, NBIS/Elixir Sweden)
- Quality control and DEG analysis (MIHAELA MARTIS, NBIS/Elixir Sweden)
- Downstream analysis - How to see the biology in your lists (JESSICA LINDVALL, NBIS/Elixir Sweden)
